San Luis Obispo MakerSpace Staff
December 2014-2017
The SLO Makerspace is a community resource dedicated to education and creativity. It is an open, collaborative machine/wood/electronics shop and craft center where one can build projects; teach and take classes; and build networks connecting with local people and resources. This was a place where I went to find creative solutions, develop my artistic and crafting nature, and meet great people who are experts in many subjects ranging from welding to pottery. I helped manage the shop and was dedicated to teaching the use of and maintaining the 3D printer, laser cutter, and vacuum former. I've never had so much fun learning!
